New Look

I met some homeschooling moms who blog recently and felt bad that I’ve let this site languish. So today I upgraded Wordpress and found a new theme to play with. It most likely won’t look like this for long, as I love nothing more than mucking around inside themes to customize them. Hopefully I’ll find the inspiration to keep it up this time!

Yuck

Well, it’s official: I am well on my way to Diabetes. I guess I should be glad I’ve gotten a second chance to fix this. But it’s just so overwhelming right now to figure out what to eat. I am seeing a nutritionist next month, but knowing how things have been going, I’ll probably put on 20 pounds before then. So I’m feeling discouraged just because I am so fat and ugly right now. It’s embarrassing. I was looking at a Wolferman’s catalog today and it was like saying goodbye to all those lovely, lovely carbs.
